This month’s round-up of news and reports from our sectors of interest. 

Culture and creative industries: 

The Creative Industries Federation and Creative England are to merge.

A new regional support model for public libraries was launched.


The Heritage Alliance published a report looking at the value of heritage to the creative industries.

It also launched an International Heritage Funding Directory to point people towards funding sources for overseas work.

Place-making and urban regeneration:

The Town and Country Planning Association published a set of guides (Putting Health Into Place) to creating healthier and more connected communities.

Lendlease reported on a project they ran to get young people to engage with a regeneration scheme in Euston.


Finally, the Glover review of landscapes (National Parks and AONBs) was released by the Government.
